The BELL Committee was created from a collaborative effort between employees of United Bank (Katy Gunn Mcarthy and Johnathan Wilson), First National Bank of Griffin (Jacob Standridge), McIntosh Trail Service Board (Kenyatta Walker), Southern Crescent Technical College (Linda Henley), UGA Griffin Campus (Matthew Peach), WellStar Spalding (Leigh Marat), and myself to help support local efforts aimed at literacy and learning by connecting local business owners with these efforts to help improve community awareness and increase the number volunteers and supporters during events.
BELL aims to support and bolster the literacy and education of the youth and adults located in Griffin-Spalding. BELL is a group of businesses and concerned citizens collaborating to support education efforts and making sure that everyone has access to materials and resources to foster a love of learning and quality education.
BELL aims to connect with community minded businesses and citizens and other organizations to address the educational needs of the community.
